I appreciate understanding the difference if you are cutting the ends with peaks and valleys. but Is there really a difference in layers cut with blunt ends vertically vs cutting blunt horizontal layer? Thank you very much for your videos. They are very well done.

It would be amazing if you could show us non-pros how to do this cut on ourselves 😊 my hair is wavy and sits flat on top, heavy on the bottom. I usually cut a choppy "bixie" on myself using shears, a razor and a tinkle comb, lol! Pro tips from you guys for self-hair cutting would be so awesome. Also, could you recommend shears for around $100 for those of us who cut our own hair? Either way - thank you for all the tutorials! ❤

WoW! Amazing! I'm not a beautician but Covid quarantine made me one. I could easily do it watching your Videos. Kudos. You are an interesting lecturer and Comentator too. You could have completed the crown rectangle area in this episode itself so that amature artist like me would not have any confusions. Yes now I got the continuation link in your next link Video. Thank you.

It is so hard to find a stylist who is comfortable cutting lots of bangs with texture. They always act like they are, and in the end I get wispy, straight across bangs.

That is such a wonderful technique because all the time they want their layers left long and you can’t even tell where the layer starts or end it is perfect. Thank you so much and the way you teach it is so learning friendly. Thank you so much.

I just got a haircut recently and the woman used the razor on my hair. I wanted a few layers touched up and wanted to keep my hair long. She ended up cutting off around 4-5 inches off when I told her I just wanted 2 inches off at most. My hair was already thin and when she used the razor, she did it in such a fast motion while holding the hair out at a 45 degree angle to my head and she just ripped through it super fast without even paying attention. It turned out horrible and instead of having a blunt layering look, I have a ton of thin wispy hair that looks like split ends and fly aways.. She took out so much bulk that I didn't even have to begin with. I look like I have dry scarecrow hair..I'm was devastated.

Every hairdresser should watch this if you dont listen to your clients' concerns and do what you want to them you'll easily lose a client and make a bad reputation for doing what you want and not listening to what is their hair goals.
